A police department is defined by its employees and volunteers. Our safety would be in peril without the sacrificial service of our public servants who willingly go into harm’s way to ensure the rest of us are safe and secure.
The Sandy Springs Police Benevolent Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded on the premise of helping our protectors and their families in their times of hardship or catastrophic need. When a Sandy Springs police officer’s child needed special surgery or a policeman or fireman unexpectedly suffered a serious injury or illness, or a fellow law enforcement officer was killed in the line of duty, the Sandy Springs Police Benevolent Fund was there to help. Fortunately, the Sandy Springs Police Benevolent Fund is not limited to Sandy Springs Public Safety employees. The SSPBF reaches across jurisdictional lines to help all public safety employees who have been in need.
With the ongoing support of our community, we will continue to help those who help others.
